*Obituary
Ruel Joseph Davis, 64, of 611 California died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in North Plains Hospital.

Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

A retired Southern Union Gas Company maintenance employee, he was a native of Tupelo, Okla. and a Borger resident for 56 years.

He was a veteran of WW II when he was a member of the U.S. Army. He was a member of University Heights Christian Church and VFW No. 1789.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Tennie Davis of Borger; four sisters, Mrs. Doneta Immel of Borger, Mrs. Elsie Trostle of Houston; Mrs. Velvie Pax of Salem, Mo.; and Mrs. Bertha Crafton of Borger; two brothers, Elmer Davis of Borger and Haskell Davis of Modesto, Calif.
