Edith Lorene (Wilson) passed away Sunday April 5, 2015 at Caprock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Borger.

She was born February 28, 1931 in Binger Oklahoma to Ollie B. and Maggie (Ruminer) Wilson. She moved to Borger from Fairfax Oklahoma in 1955.

She was a self-employed upholster. She was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church of Borger. Edith loved to travel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Norma Brown and a brother Billie Wilson.

She is survived by her husband Douglas Wayne Hooks of Borger; a son Bryan Arthur and wife Kianah Sissel of Albuquerque New Mexico; 5 step-daughters: Wilma Lanell and Bill Reynolds of Borger, Patricia and husband Robert Wells of Borger, Dona Faye and husband Tony Elrod of Borger, Deena Gray of Borger and Vickie Henslee of Fritch; a sister Betty Grig of Fairfax Oklahoma ; a brother Doc and wife Ruth Wilson of Ponca City Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.

Viewing will be at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains in Borger on Tuesday April 7 from 8am-5pm and Wednesday April 8 from 8am-8pm.

Services will be held Thursday April 9 at 11:00am at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains in Borger. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger.

Arrangements are by Wingeart & Eldringhoff Funeral Home of Pampa, Texas.
