*Obituary
Elmer V. DeLong, 81, of 919 Coble, was pronounced dead at his home at approximately 7 a.m. today by Justice of the Peace Nadean Spinks.
Mr. DeLong was born Sept. 14, 1896, in Kansas. He had been a Borger resident since 1945. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Vida of the home; two sons, Bobby of Iowa and Glen of Calif.; and two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Smith, N.C. and Mary Jo DeLong, Kans.
Funeral services are pending at Minton Mortuary.
