Jess E. Demings, 45, 105 B. Avenue, Phillips, resident of this area since 1926 died at North Plains Hospital at 11:45 a.m. Saturday. He was a stillman's helper with the refinery of Phillips Petroleum Company.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline two sons, Marvin and Tommy both of Phillips, his mother, Mrs. Mattie Demings of Borger; two brothers, Paul of Borger and Sam of El Paso, and one grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the First Assembly of God Church in Borger with the Rev. Archie Winkle officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown Funeral Directors.
Casket bearers will be Gene Evans, Ralph Brown, Lowell Irwin, C.L. Aaron, Royal Stiles, and Marion Mitchell.
