*Obituary
T. P. Dewey, 62, resident of Borger for many years, died Tuesday afternoon after suffering a heart attack.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Minnie Dewey; two daughters, Opal and Betty Jo Dewey; six sons, John of Phillips, George of Borger, Raymond of Hobbs, N.M., Leonard of Hobbs, James of Phillips and Thomas, serving with the armed forces in the South Pacific; one brother, S.H. Dewey of Stinnett; and two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Short of Pampa and Mrs. Millie Hilliard of Butler, Mo.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Blackburn-Shaw chapel, with Rev. J.H. Crawford, pastor of the Phillips Methodist church, officiating.
Interment was in Highland Park cemetery under the direction of Blackburn-Shaw.
