BORGER - July 24 (Special) - James Alfred Duke, 73 years old, died last night at his home here. He had lived in Borger 12 years and was a retired carpenter.
He was a member of the Methodist Church and a 32nd degree Mason.
Survivors are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Ralph Dobkins, Borger, Mrs. Erl Alexander, Phillips, and Mrs. N.O. Pearson, St. Jo, Tex., a son, J.E. Duke, Borger, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon in Tenth Street Methodist Church with Rev. Jack Williford officiating. Burial will be under direction of Minton Funeral Home.
