Funeral services for Bob Dutton, 58, of 1824 Boyd, were at 4 p.m. today in the First Christian Church with the Rev. Jeff Holder, pastor, officiating, and the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, assisting.
Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Dutton, a longtime employee of Phillips Petroleum Company in the Warehouse, was a native of Whitesboro and a Borger resident for 34 years.
A veteran of World War II, he was a member of First Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; two sons, Dr. Richard Dutton of Palestine and Bob W. Dutton of Midland; one daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Gruver of Littlefield; two brothers, Grady Dutton of Brisbane, Australia and Jasper Dutton of Tennessee; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Bond of Borger, Mrs. Beatrice Johnston of Amarillo and Miss Doris Dutton of North Platte, Neb., and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Pete Garcia, Donnie Watson, Eck Spahich, W.L. Skidmore, G.W. Gideon, and O.L. Winkle.
The body will lie in state until one hour before service time.
