*Obituary
Lawrence C. "Heavy" Eggleston, 58, of 1109 Madison, died at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Minton Memorial Chapel. The Rev. G. Slation, pastor of the First Assembly of God in Amarillo, will officiate. Military graveside rites will be in Highland Park Cemetery.

Mr. Eggleston had lived in Borger since 1948. He was born at Leight, Neb., March 10, 1920.

He was a unit operator for Copolymer Plant. Mr. Eggleston was president of the Frank Phillips Men's Club for the past five years.

He was a member of the Adobe Walls Masonic Walls Post 1355, Veteran of Foreign War Post 1789 and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the army air force.

Mr. Eggleston attended the First Assembly of God Church.

Surviving are his wife, Edith; a son, Steve of Amarillo; two daughters, Brenda Badgett and Debbie Eggleston, both of Amarillo; four brothers, Clarence of Skylar, Neb. and Joe, George, and Charles, all of Cheyenne, Wyo.; three sisters, Mrs. Nora Carlson of Freemont, Neb. and Mrs. Irene Danielson and Mrs. Alice McNurlin, both of Omaha, Neb.; and four grandchildren.
