Arthur Alta Ellis, 63, Borger, died at 8:45 a.m. Friday, April 5, 1991 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Universal Ministries of Truth with the Rev. Mel Turpin, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
A native of Tahlequah, Okla., he moved from Sunray to Borger 40 years ago. He was a retired toolpusher for Service Drilling Company, and was a lifetime member of VFW.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Weatherford in November, 1990.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda of the home; two sons, Arthur Dewayne Ellis of Tulsa, Okla.; Dennis Dean Ellis of Borger; three daughters, Wanda Elizabeth Trimble of Tulsa, Okla.; Vickie Lynn Mack of Borger; and June Dent of Tonkawa, Okla.; four brothers, Lloyd Ellis and Bob Ellis, both of Hulbert, Okla.; J.W. Ellis and G.D. Ellis, both of Borger; four sisters, Vernice Miller of Fort Gibson, Okla.; Opal Broom of Borger; Jewel Benge of El Reno, Okla.; and Sue Ellis of Corpus Christi; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Ira Dent, Ricky Stone, Aaron "Packy" Ellis, Royce Hallmark, Brian Ellis, and William "Casto" Miller.

Services are pending with Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors for Wanda Mae Ellis, 67, of Borger, who died Friday, July 3, in Borger.
Mrs. Ellis was born Oct. 19, 1930, in Davenport, Okla. She married Arthur Ellis on Aug. 22, 1956, at Clayton, N.M. He preceded her death on April 5, 1991.
A Borger resident since 1962, Mrs. Ellis was a Baptist.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Habekott of Birmingham, Ala., and Dennis Ellis, of Fritch; four daughters, Diane Foley and June Dent, both of Amarillo, Janice Cramer of Bethany, Okla., and Vickie Mack of Borger; two sisters, Edith Jewell of Amarillo and Wilma Beck of Elk City, Okla.; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
