*Obituary
Mrs. Bertie D. Ellis, aged 53, died at 12:45 yesterday afternoon at the home of Art Ellis, her son, at his home on the highway between Borger and Whittenburg. after a long illness.
Mrs. Ellis was borne [sic] in Berne, North Carolina.
Surviving are her husband, L.L. Ellis, who is in Neosha, Mo.; her father, W.D. Bryson, in Neosha; three sons, Ben, Birmingham, Ala.; Perry, Chillicothe, Ohio; and William, Kansas City, three daughters, Mrs. Lulu Lyons, Kansas City; Mrs. June Murphy, Borger, and Miss Lorine Ellis, Borger; and two sisters, Mrs. Mina Jackson, Bagswell, and Mrs. Mary Griffin, Neosha, Mo.
The body is at the Carver funeral chapel pending funeral arrangement by the family.
