*Obituary
Funeral services for Thomas Summers Elms, 76, of 205 Byrd, Phillips, are scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday from Bible Baptist Church. The Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home.

Elms died at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday in North Plains Hospital. He has been a Phillips resident for four years and was a member of a Baptist Church.

Surviving are the widow, Grace; two sons, Donald of Phillips, Walter of Riverview Camp; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Busso of Oakland, Calif., and Mrs. Betty Ulm of Petaluma, Calif.; brother, Oscar, of Shawnee, Okla.; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
