Funeral services for Mrs. Verna Entrekin, 58, are at 11 a.m. Monday from First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial in Highland Park Cemetery will be directed by Minton Mortuary.

Mrs. Entrekin was a longtime Stinnett resident until five years ago when she moved to Amarillo. She died at 1 p.m. Friday in Northwest Texas Hospital.

Born July 29, 1913 in Midlothion [sic], Texas, Mrs. Entrekin was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are five sons, Jim Barrett, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Md., Eddie, Leslie, and J.W. Barrett, all of Amarillo and Eldon Barrett of Stinnett; daughter, Mrs. H.H. Snodgrass Jr. of Phoenix; five sisters and two brothers; 23 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Casketbearers are Curtis Goodwin, Max Grossman, Lawrence Whelchel, Tony Bauert, J.P. Jones and Johnny Moore.

Honorary casketbearers are John Wade, Al Winters, Fred Kelly, Buck Christian and George Green.
