C. F. Essary Rites Set
Carrol Frederick Essary, 19, died yesterday when he was struck by the gin pole of an oil field truck working on a drilling rig about seven miles west of Skellytown. He worked for the FWA drilling company.
He was born August 26, 1937, at Tishomingo, Okla., and lived with his parents in Hutchinson County near Skellytown. He was a member of the Haile Baptist Church and attended high school in Borger. He is survived by his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Essary; one brother, Don of Skellytown, and a great-grandmother, Mrs. Molly Alexander of Tishomingo.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon in the First Baptist Church at Borger. Two ministers, Rev. Winifred Moore, pastor of the First Baptist Church, and Rev. J.D. Hill, pastor of the Haile Baptist Church, will preside. Burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery, Borger, under direction of Duenkel-Carmichael Funeral Home.

Essary Services Held in Borger
BORGER, Sept. 26 - Funeral services for Carroll Frederick Essary, 19, of Skellytown were held at 2:30 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church here.
Duenkle-Carmichael Funeral Home of Pampa directed interment in Highland Park Cemetery. The youth was killed Monday in an oil field accident near Skellytown.
