Bernice Glenn Felker, 71, 104 Sarasota, died Monday in his home.

A retired insulator for the Insulators Union Local 66, he was a native of Gainesville, and a Borger resident for 41 years.

He was a veteran of Army Calvary and Sergeant in Air Force in WWII and a member of the VFW 1789, and St. John's Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louella Parker Felker in 1985, a daughter, Anne Felker in 1950, two sons, Michael Felker in 1957 and Dennis Felker in 1983.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; six sons, Barry, Ferrin, Brendan, Senan, all of Fritch, Kevin of Borger, and Tim of the home; two daughters, Mary Lasley, Sheila Elliot, both of Fritch; a brother, Jake Ernest Felker of Gainesville; one sister, Marcene Felker Graves of Gainesville and 16 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church with Rev. Arturo Meza, associate pastor, officiating.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Minton Memorial Chapel.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
