*Obituary
Funeral services for Rachel Lovena Francis, 76, Borger, were at 2 p.m. today at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor Bible Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Francis died Saturday, Aug. 27, 1994 in North Plains Care Center.

A native of Marshall, Ark., she had been a Borger resident since 1977. She was a housewife, and was a Baptist.
She married William Harrison Francis, Feb. 6, 1936 at Buffington, Mo. He died Oct. 6, 1980.

She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Dale Francis, Sept. 19, 1983.

Survivors include a son, Robert Lee Francis of Blackwell, Okla.; four daughters, Maudie Mae Brown of Sanford,; Wilda Gene McCellan of Auburn Hills, Mich.; and Bonita Sue Sargent of Borger; Leota Karen Herin of Fritch; and Marcella Ann Herin of Picher, Okla.; two brothers, Thomas Butler Lance II of Westerly, R.I.; and Orvile Lance of May; two sisters, Lou Vada Kimbell of Clinton, Ark.; and Letty Oleta Tedford of Mangum, Okla.; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ronald Kenyon, Jimmy Brown, Jr., Jerry Don Parker, and Jackie Brown.
