BORGER - Florence Lucille Franklin, 83, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Franklin was born on Dec. 12, 1924, in Hillsboro to Waymond and Amelia Collier. She was a cook for many years at the Nu-Way Cafe in Borger.
Survivors include her two sons, Roland Franklin of Tyler and Daryl Franklin of Borger; a daughter, Sheila Clement of Borger; two brothers, Willis Collier of Los Angeles and Robert Collier of San Bruno, Calif., eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
