Final rites for Leonard L. Franklin, former Borger resident, are planned at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Ed Brown, Funeral Director. The Rev. Lee Hillon will officiate, and interment will be held in Highland Park Cemetery.
Franklin, who lived in Borger prior to moving to Oklahoma about four years ago, died Saturday in Noble, Oklahoma. He was 56 years old.

Services for Margarete I. Franklin, 74, of 715 Moody will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the Ed Brown & Son Chapel of the Fountains. Interment will be at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
The Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church will officiate.
Mrs. Franklin, who was born in Montague, had lived here since 1936.
Survivors include one brother, Jimmie March of Borger and one sister, Mrs. Mollie Burton of Norman, Okla. She was preceeded in death by her husband Leonard.
