Graveside services for Howard Lawson Frans, 72, of 324 N. Harvey, were at 4 p.m. today in Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial was by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Frans died at 5 a.m. Saturday in Amarillo.

A native of Seneca, Kan., he had been a Borger resident for 17 years. He was a World War II veteran, and a member of the Bible Baptist Church, and VFW.

Survivors include a son, Ronald of Amarillo; one brother, Ray of McPherson, Kan.; one sister, Hazel Lewis of Wichita, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
