Irene Brisco was born October 29, 1915 in Van Zandt County, Texas, to William Harley Brown and Carrie Virginia Huddle Brown. She moved with her family to Terry County in 1925 and was married to Burlin Brisco of Brownfield on [date.] Irene went to meet her Lord at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 24, 1959 while in the Terry County hospital at the age of 44 years, 1 month and 25 days.
Irene was a homemaker and member of Union Baptist Church, Brownfield, Texas.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband Berlin Brisco in December 28, 1958 as well as her mother, two brothers, Delton and Pete Brown and a sister, Pauline Brown.
Loved by all who knew her, Brisco is survived by her father, William Harley Brown, three brothers, Malcolm Brown of Dallas, Texas, Bill Brown of Brownfield, Texas, and W. H. Brown, Jr. of Levelland, Texas; and two sisters, Mrs. Glen Mason of Meadow, Texas and Mrs. Willie Hyman of Brownfield, Texas, nieces, nephews, along with a host of other friends and relatives.
Mrs. Brisco was buried next to her husband in the Terry County Memorial Cemetary, Brownfield, Texas.
