Services for Lonnie R. Gouge, 71, of 1220 Cooley, were at 2 p.m. today at the Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Skaggs, pastor, officiating and the Rev. C.W. Parker, associate pastor, assisting.

Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Directors.

Mr. Gouge was a deacon at Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred; three sons, Ernest of Colorado Springs, Colo., Charles of Bartlesville, Okla., and Harold of Levelland; two sisters, Mrs. Lorene Phillips of Porterville, Calif. and Mrs. Tiny Young of Modesto, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ralph Murrow, Doyce George, Joe Wilson, John Fowlkes, Doyle Whitefield and Herman Cole.

Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the Calvary Baptist Church and members of the Men's Bible Class.

Mildred Gouge, 75, of 1220 Cooley Drive, died Sunday at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Skaggs, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Home. The casket will be open until one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gouge was a homemaker. She was a native of Aberdeen, S.D. and a Borger resident for 44 years. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and Bluebonnett Home Demonstration Club. She was named "1984 Hutchinson County Extension Homemaker Woman of the Year."

She is survived by three sons, Ernest of Colorado Springs, Colo., Harold of Levelland, and Charles of Bartlesville, Okla.; two brothers, Marvin Basford of Okmulgee, Okla., and Walter Basford of Maryville, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was precedded [sic] in death by her husband L.R. Gouge in 1981.

Pallbearers include: Mike Gouge, Tony Gouge, David Gouge, Kelly Gouge, Gene Marts, and Gilbert Segura.
