*Obituary
Remains of Pfc. Roy L. Graddy, recently returned to Borger, will be laid to final rest in reburial services at the veteran's plot in Highland Park cemetery. The VFW will conduct military rites at the services to be held at 4 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist church. The Rev. Paul B. Cullen will officiate.

Pfc. Roy Graddy, 33, was killed in action November 21, 1944, while serving with Company "D" of the 333rd Infantry in the European theater.

Survivors include: two brothers, Edward Graddy, Borger, and Lewis Graddy with the United States Merchant Marine; three aunts, Mrs. W.B. Nixon, Pampa, Mrs. Florence Steadman, Mavern, Arkansas, and Mrs. Glittie Harwell of Borger.

Simpson funeral home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Graddy was born in Hugo, Oklahoma [sic], and came to Borger in 1927. Before entering the service, he was employed at United Carbon company.
