Services for E. H. Crossland, 75, of Brownfield were held Tuesday, Feb. 10 at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Reeder officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

E. H. passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009 in Brownfield. He was born Jan. 15, 1934 in Terry County to Ed and Oma Crossland. He graduated from Brownfield High School in 1952. He was a Korean U.S. Army Veteran. E. H. married Margie Causey York on April 9, 1991 in Las Vegas, NV.

He was a horse trainer and cowboy. E. H. was a Mason and a member of the Terry County Sheriff's Posse. He was a member of First Christian Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Tarzan Crossland, two sisters, Sammie Jordan and Nora Crossland and a grandson, Cody Clay Crossland.

E. H. is survived by his wife Margie of Brownfield; a son, Eddie Crossland and his wife Connie of Dumas; a daughter, Julie Crossland of Alvord; a sister, Billie Howell of Brownfield; a brother, Don Crossland of Salem, Oregon; three grandchildren; a step-son, Larry York and his wife Cheryl of Lubbock; two step-daughters, Glenna Jakes and her husband Jeff of Lubbock and Karen Hulse of Brownfield.
