Death came to Alvin W. Green, 22, well known Borgan, early this morning in a local hospital. According to the attending physician he died from septicemia, which is a blood stream infection caused by a streptoco infection of the throat.

The young man attended school in Borger and graduated with the class of 1932. He was a member of the Borger Bulldog football team while in high school, and took an active part in class activities. He attended junior college at the Pasadena Junior college in California in 1933, where he lettered on the football team that year.

He was a member of the Presbyterian church. Funeral services will be held next Sunday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. Victor K. Aubery officiating, assisted by Rev. Jesse F. Wiseman. Burial will be in Highland cemetery.

He is survived by his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. P.B. Green and one sister, Rena Belle.

Carver-Powell funeral chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be Dan Smith, Stacy McNulty, Leonard Martyr, Joe MacConner, Orville Hanna, Herbert Teeter.

Honorary pallbearers are F.G. Wood, Sol Morggenstern, J.E. Ellis, Clyde Linley, L.M .Davis, Dr. W.A. Bullock, J.D. Pittman, and M. McIlroy.

The committee in charge of floral arrangements is composed of Mrs. Fred Greene, Mrs. F.G. Wood, Mrs. F.M. McIlroy and Mrs. Taylor.
