BORGER - O.M. "Chief" Greenwood, 89, died Saturday, April 10, 1999.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Calvin Newton, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.

Mr. Greenwood was born in Dewey, Okla., and had lived in Borger for 63 years. He was an employee of Phillips Petroleum Co. about 24 years before retiring in 1966. After retirement, he helped on the Johnson Ranch with the cattle and horses. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church.

He married Cora Lee Webster Smirl in 1956 at Clayton, N.M.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Donald Greenwood of Borger, Arthur Greenwood of Iowa City, Iowa, Richard Greenwood of Big Spring and Jim Greenwood of Bryan; three daughters, Joyce Ferguson and Sharon Klinger, both of Borger, and Catherine Matthews of Amarillo; a sister, Billie Taylor of Bartlesville, Okla; 14 grandchildren; and 19 greatgrandchildren.

BORGER - Cora Lee Greenwood, 84, formerly of Borger, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains in Borger. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.

Cora Lee was born in 1926, in Oktaha, Okla., to Arthur and Cora Cragg Webster. She was an employee of Phillips Petroleum Co. for 31 years before retiring.
