Mattie Kathryn Grieb, 82, of Borger died Friday, August 8, 1997 in High Plains Baptist Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 12, in Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Roger Harwerth, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Borger, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of Tishomingo, Okla., she had been a Borger resident since 1934. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Borger.

Mrs. Grieb was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone, where she was a service rep for 31 years.

She married Tom Grieb on June 28, 1942 in Wichita Falls.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1971.

Survivors include one son, Steve Grieb of Amarillo.
