Felipe B. Gutierrez, 88, of Amarillo died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005.

Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. John's Catholic Church with the Rev. Mieczyslaw Przepiora, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in White Deer, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.

Mr. Gutierrez was born April 3, 1917, in Borica, N.M. He retired in 1982 as a heavy equipment operator for Phillips Petroleum Co. after 23 years. Survivors include three sons, Joe Gutierrez and wife, Aline, of Amarillo, Ray Gutierrez of Borger and Leroy Gutierrez and wife, Cindy, of Bixby, Okla.; two daughters, Maida Villasenor and husband, Manny Perez, and Helen Hernandez and husband, Bobby. all of Amarillo; two sisters, Bennie Muniz of Taos, N.M. and Carolina Lucero of Albuquerque, N.M.; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

The family wants to thank Amarillo High Plains Dialysis, Intrepid Home Health Care and Vista Care.

AMARILLO - Fabiola "Viola" Gutierrez, 71, died Monday, Dec. 9, 1991 in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church with Monsignor Norbert Kuehler, pastor, officiating.

Vigil prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today at Minton Memorial Chapel.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of Santa Rosa, N.M., she was a Borger resident from 1944 untill [sic] she moved to Amarillo in 1989. She was a housewife.

She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, StJohn's [sic] Legion of Mary, St. John's Alter Society, St. John's Cursillistas, and Senior Homemakers Extension.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Gutierrez in 1956.

Survivors include her husband, Felipe of the home; three sons, Joe Gutierrez of Amarillo; Ray Gutierrez and Leroy Gutierrez, both of Borger; two daughters, Maida Villasenor and Helen Hernandez, both of Amarillo; a sister, Corina Martinez of Las Cruces, N.M.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
