*Obituary
VERNON - Billy E. Hale, 56, of 609 California, Vernon died Friday evening in Vernon.

A former maintenance employee of North Plains Hospital, he was a native of Borger and a Borger resident for 56 years.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth, of Borger; a son, Billy C. Hale of Borger; a sister, Mrs. Jack Keeth of Fritch; and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Skaggs, pastor of the church, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park cemetery under the direction of the Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Casket Bearers will be Bill Lowe, Don Barngrover, Ricky Ott, Anthony McWilliams, Roy Webb and Joe Smith.
