Services for Nowlin A. Hammond, 79, of 230 Wilson, were at 3 p.m. today at the Brown and Sons Chapel of the Fountains, with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery.

Mr. Hammond died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in North Plains Hospital.

A native of Iola, Mrs. Hammond had been a Borger resident for 53 years.

Mr. Hammond was a retired employee of Phillips Petroleum Company at the Copolymer Plant. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, one daughter, one brother, three sisters, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
