*Obituary Alfred
Acute indigestion yesterday morning at 10:45 o'clock caused the death of A.F. Hampton, 73, retired farmer, who died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Nadine Howard, 712 W. Tenth Street.

Hampton had resided here the last 9 years, coming from Nowata, Okla.

He is survived by three sons, Gus of Wichita, Kas., Grover of Noxie, Okla., Bryan of Phillips; four daughters, Mrs. Helen Cox of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Agnes Davis of Joplin, Mrs. Viola Myers of Phillips, Mrs. Nadine Howard of Borger; and one sister, Mrs. Malvina Hughes of Corpus Christi.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. J.A. Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Highland cemetery.

Carver Bros. Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Miranda [sic] Jane Hampton, 69, resident of Borger for 6 years, died at her home on West Tenth Street early this morning of asthma.

Funeral services, in charge of the Carver Funeral Chapel, will be held pending the convenience of relatives.

She is survived by 7 children, Mrs. J.I. Davis, Joplin, Mo; Mrs. C.S. Meyers, Oklahoma City; Miss Nadine Hampton of Borger; Grover Hampton, Noxie, Okla.; G.L. Hampton, Wichita, Kas.; and Bryan of Borger; two brothers, Van and Zeke Lee of Yellville, Ark.; and one sister, Mrs. Sally McCarty of California.

Mr. Hampton is confined to his home at present with the flu.
