Funeral services for J.M. Hampton, 46, are scheduled at 4 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dan Cameron, pastor, officiating.

Interment in Highland Park Cemetery will be under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home.

Hampton died Monday night. He was a World War II veteran. A resident of the Tri-City area since 1945, he resided at 4164 Fourth, Philview, and was employed by Phillips Petroleum Company, at the Philblack Plant.
