*Obituary
Funeral services for George W. Hampton, 37, who died from tuberculosis in a veteran's hospital in Albuquerque, N.M. Monday morning, were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Legion hall, with the Rev. J.A. Thomas officiating.

Members of the Legion Post 421 were in charge of funeral arrangements, assisted by the Carver-Powell funeral chapel. Burial was in Highland cemetery.

Hampton is survived by his wife and four children, LaVon, Georgie, Alfred and Homer Gus; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Hampton; three brothers, Bryan of Borger, and Gus and Grover of Wichita, Kas. Four sisters, Nadine and Mrs. Viola Myers, both of Borger, Mrs. Helen Cox of Oklahoma City also survive.
