*Obituary
Funeral services for E.P. "Shorty" Hamrick are planned at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the Minton Funeral Home, with the Rev. Walter Hoskin, vicar of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, officiating.

Hamrick, a resident of the Borger area for the past 32 years, died Tuesday afternoon at North Plains Hospital following a lingering illness. He was 59 years old.

A 30-year employee of Southwestern Public Services Company, Hamrick and his wife moved to Stinnett a few years ago.

Other than the widow, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Jane Little and Mrs. Elizabeth Hull, both of Amarillo; his mother, Mrs. Portie W. Hamrick, Logan, West Virginia; three grandchildren, five sisters and four brothers.

Casketbearers will be Homer Haney, J.W. Throckmorton, M.C. Armstrong, Lewis Jones, I.W. Greer and F.T. Paschall. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery. The casket will be open only until 1 p.m.
