BROWNSBORO -Joe R. Hankins, Sr.,79, of Brownsboro died here Thursday, Oct 6, 1988.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Franklin Street Church of God, Borger. The Rev. L.K. Lawley, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Hankins, a native of Oklahoma, was retired from Phillips Petroleum Plains Plant. He lived in Brownsboro for three years and previously had lived in Borger since 1945.
He is survived by two sons, Joe Hankins, Jr., of Pueblo, Colo., and Del Ray Hankins of San Francisco; one sister, Clessie Warren of Brownsboro, one brother, Ralph Hankins of Borger; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
