Jimmy Lynn Haren went to be with the Lord Sept. 9, 2014 in Holly Springs MS.
He was born to Hodges A. Haren and Della Ruth Haren on Feb. 15, 1936, and was laid to rest in Highland Park Cemetery, Sept. 22, 2014.
He was a lifelong resident of Fritch TX, before moving to Nesbit MS in 2012.
He was an avid golfer and won many tournaments in his life. He was well known for his golfing skills and had many friends. Wherever he went and whatever the circumstance he always greeted everyone with "Pretty Day". He was always there for everyone who needed him, and was happy to help anyone even strangers. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life Barbara Jo Haren, parents Hodges A. Haren and Della Ruth Haren, brother Donald Haren, sister Rosaland Jameson, son Dennis Dale Haren, stepdaughter Kim Poris, stepson Larry King.
He is survived by brother Harold Haren and wife Vickie McKinny of TX, Sister Sylvia Edwards of Fritch Tx, sons Ricky L. Haren and wife Bea of Nesbit MS., Scott Haren of Fruita CO., Joe Gilbert and wife Cindy of Fairplay CO, Sammye King and wife Pam, sister-in-law Mickey Coleman and husband Clifford of Tenaha TX., Diana England and husband Ray of Fritch, TX, brother-in-law Merrill Johnson and wife Bertha of Sweetwater TX, 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

FRITCH — Barbara Jo Haren, 76, of Fritch died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, in Borger.
No services are scheduled. Arrangements are by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Mrs. Haren was a lifetime resident of the area. She owned several beauty salons.
Survivors include her husband, Jim; four sons, Joe Gilbert of Fairplay, Colo., Sammy King of Fritch, Ricky Haren of Memphis, Tenn., and Scott Haren of Grand Junction, Colo.; a brother, Merle Johnson of Snyder; two sisters, Mickey Coleman of Teneha and Diane England of Fritch; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
