Alton W. Harvey, 83, of Borger, died Saturday, October 20, 2012.

Alton was born October 18, 1929 in Elmira, New York, and was in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Wanda June May 26, 1972 in Borger. Alton was a truck driver, and crossing guard at Gateway Elementary. He was a member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge, Hutchinson County E.O.C., and loved the Dallas Cowboys, bingo, and fishing.

Survivors include two sons; Jim Marrs of Fritch, Donny Marrs of Fresno, California; three daughters; June Jubeck of Colgate, Wisconsin, Hope Floyd of Amrillo, Diane Dick, 20 grandchildren, including James Marrs II and wife Courtney of Borger, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Alton is preceded in death by his wife Wanda June Harvey, March 6, 2011, his parents, a step-son, Ronald Lynn Marrs, and a grandson Keith Stimson.

Wanda June Harvey, 83, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, in Borger.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m.

Thursday at Highland Park Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Minton/ Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Wanda was born on June 22, 1927, and had lived in Fritch and Borger most of her life. She made all the pies at the Nu-Way Café for 19 years until the late 1990s.

She was a Baptist, member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Alice Blanton, son Ronald Lynn Marrs, and grandson Keith Stimson.

She is survived by her husband Alton Harvey of the home, two sons, James Marrs, Sr. and wife Cheryl of Fritch and Donny Marrs of California, three daughters, Charlon June Jubeck of Wisconsin, Hope Floyd of Amarillo and Phyllis Diane Dick; two brothers, Joel Lee Blanton and Carl Blanton. both of South Texas; 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
