BORGER - Thelma Hawkins, 102, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, in Plano.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Hawkins was born June 17, 1906, in Dora, Mo. She had been a Borger resident for 79 years.
Survivors include a son, Bill Hawkins of Houston; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Hawkins of Plano; a sister, Armel Anderson of Borger; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
