Graveside services for Maurice D. "Curley" Haynes, 77, Borger, were at 3 p.m. today at Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Miller, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial was by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

He died died [sic] Monday, Nov. 22, 1993 in High Plains Baptist Hospital in Amarillo.

A native of Miller Grove, Texas, he had been a Borger resident for 42 years.

He was a retired truck driver and a Baptist. He was a World War II Army veteran.

He married Frances Missildine Sept. 13, 1947 in Dangerfield.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Glen Haynes of Amarillo and Doug Haynes of Borger; two daughters, Mary Hooks of Stinnett and Bobbie Maurine Martin of Naples, Texas; four brothers, David of Houston; Jerry of Paris, Texas; Billy of Shreveport, La.; and Nick of Arlington; three sisters, Ruth Timley of Hooks; Gertrude Evans of Borger; and Louise Bean of Bogata; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

BORGER — Frances Haynes, 84, of Borger died Saturday, June 6, 2015.

Services will be private.

Frances was born April 4, 1931, in Simms to Rufus and Irene Missildine. She married Maurice Haynes on Sept. 13, 1946, in Daingerfield. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Eternal Light Church.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; two sons; and a daughter.

Survivors include her sister, Helen Jacob; two brothers, Tom Stinson and Bill Missildine; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
