Kethleen Othelia Henderson, 89, of Amarillo died Monday, Aug. 18, 2003.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with the Rev. Rusty Dickerson of St. Paul United Methodist Church and Mark Wilmarth, pastor of Hope Chapwell Winsor in California, officiating. Private family burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Henderson was born in Leon, Okla., on March 29, 1914. She married Eber Henderson in April 1936. They were married 41 years before his death in 1977. She was a nurse during the 1960s.

Mrs. Henderson lived in Sanford, Phillips and Stinnett before moving to Amarillo in 1991. She was very involved with the Methodist Church, Iris Club and enjoyed dancing with the 45 & Uppers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and three children, Sandra Craig, Erwin Henderson and David Henderson.

Survivors include three sisters, Alvaretta Schroeder, Delta Atterbury and Lena Parnell; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Henderson Hammock; four grandchildren, Starla Wilmarth, Cheryl Snyder, Steven Craig and Nathan Henderson; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to the Parkinson Foundation.
