BORGER, Sept. 12 - Final rites for Roy Henley, 77, who died Wednesday morning after a long illness, are to be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Church of God of Prophecy in Borger.
Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery, under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home.
Born in Kentucky on Sept. 2, 1880, he had lived in Borger 13 years. A former oil field worker, he lived at 919 Hedgecoke.
He is survived by his wife, Ada; two sons, Howard and Earl, both of Borger; two daughters, Mrs. Gene Hudspeth of Borger and Mrs. Elmer Blankenship of Spring Creek; and three sisters, Mrs. Eva Mewhew, Mrs. Lila Johnson and Mrs. Ed Miller, all of Scottsville, Ky.

Funeral services for Mrs Ada Henley, 73, will be held at 11 am Saturday from Riverview Baptist Church, where she was a member. The Rev Herbert Morphis, pastor, will officiate.
Mrs Henley died at 1:15 pm Thursday at her home in Bear Creek Community, seven miles east of Borger. She came to the county 18 years ago, with her husband, Roy Henley, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Lula Blankenship, and Mrs Evelyn Hudspeth, both of Borger; two sons, Earl of Borger and Howard of Skelly-Watkins Camp; a sister, Mrs Cora Page of Louisville, Ky, and a brother, Gene England of Danville, Ky; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Interment in Highland Park Cemetery will be under the direction of Minton Mortuary. Casketbearers are Bill Cunningham, J R Burney, S D Fields, E E Pryor, H W Phillips, and Alton Cheatwood.
