BORGER - William F. Hess, 76, died Wednesday, June 30, 1999.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Eastlawn Garden of Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Hess was born in Denison and moved to Borger in 1951 from Honey Grove. In 1986, he retired as a crane operator for Texas Pipe and Metal. He was an Army veteran and a Baptist.

He married Odessa Jones in 1951 at Borger.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Pat Smith and Betty Blackwell, both of Borger; two sisters, Pauline Stover of Gainesville and Jean Brantley of Honey Grove; six grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.
