Finis Lee Hill, 84, Borger, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 1993 in Chillicothe.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Raines, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

A native of Palo Pinto County, Texas, he had been a Borger resident for 50 years. He was a carpenter and business agent for the Local Carpenters Union until he retired. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and was a deacon for many years.

He married Rose Griffith April 24, 1929 in Perrin.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Bill Hill of Amarillo; a daughter, Betty Henderson of Fritch; three brothers, Dexter Hill of Salt Lake City, Utah; Estes Hill of Fort Worth; and Charles E. Hill of Saginaw; four sisters, Muriel Horton and Jo Helen Keener, both of Borger; Ruby Dickerson of Saginaw; and Leta Lagormacino of Albuquerque, N.M.; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be made to a favorite charity.

Rose M. Hill, 91, of Amarillo died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Central Baptist Church in Borger with the Rev. Chris Riley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery in Borger by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Mrs. Hill was born in Roanoke. She married Finis Lee Hill in 1929 in Jack County. They moved to Borger in 1943, where she was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church for more than 50 years. She taught Sunday school for many years. She lived in Borger for many years before moving to Panhandle in 2000.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993.

Survivors include a son, W.L. "Bill" Hill and wife, Betty, of Amarillo; a daughter, Betty Ann Henderson and husband, Al, of Fritch; 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice and Life Enrichment Center or Central Baptist Church.
