Denver Andrew Kelly of Rockwall, TX, was born in Lipan, TX, on September 27, 1909, and passed away July 22, 2009, just two months before he was to celebrate his 100th birthday. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 78 years, Ruby Kelly; daughter Patricia Benton and husband Darrell of Rockwall and son Royce Kelly of Hot Springs Village, AR; grandchildren: Cindy Gano, Kelly Murphy, Trisha Kurtz, Tim Murphy, Craig Kelly, Sheila Trice, Stanley Noblett, Tammy Harver and Kelly Scott Noblett; 19 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Lula Kelly, daughter Betty Brown, grandson Mike Kelly, great-grandson Brad Sandford and infant Kelly.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Saturday, July 25, 2009, at the First Baptist Church in Brownfield, TX. Interment will follow in Brownfield Cemetery.

Ruby Sue Kelly passed away on March 25, 2014. She was born on April 4, 1914 in Happy, TX to H.N. (Wes) and Ruth Rodgers Key. At a very early age her family moved to Gomez where she lived until 2008 when she and her husband relocated to Rockwall to be close to Denver Andrew Kelly on November 28, 1931. She was a farmer's wife who loved to garden, cook, can and freeze the bounties from their truck patch. Her flower gardens were so pretty people would come to a stop on the highway to get a better look. After almost 78 years of marriage, Denver preceded her in death in 2009.
Ruby is survived by son, Royce and wife Charlotte of Ft. Worth, TX; daughter, Patricia Benton and husband Darrell of Rockwall, TX; grandchildren, Cindy Gano, Kelly Harvey and Kelly Scott Noblett, Tammy and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, sisters, Imogene Key, Wanda Hall and Tommie Kelly; daughter, Betty Brown; grandson Mike Kelly; and great great –grandson; Brad Sanford.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday, March 29, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Brownfield, TX. Interment will follow in Terry County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5-7pm at Brownfield Funeral Home. Arrangements for Mrs. Kelly are by Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rowlett, TX.
