BORGER - Melvin William Holt, 56, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Trinity Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Ron E. Ellington, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Holt was born in Lamar, Okla. In 1967, he moved to Borger. He was a carpenter and superintendent for Tri-State Co. He was Pentecostal.
He married Paula French in 1970 at Fritch.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Joel Holt of McPherson, Kan.; three daughters, Melva Lou Dominguez of Kennedale, Sherese Clement of Richardson and Geraldine Bridges of Borger; two brothers, Marvin Holt of Des Moines, Iowa, and Alford Holt of Sterling, Okla.; five sisters, Betty Spriggs of Elgin, Okla., Velma Snyder, Ruby Spriggs and Berttie Redding, all of Sterling and Pearl Vaughn of Fletcher; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176-0001.
