Funeral services for Ligie Dean Huddleston, 57, Borger, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeal [sic] Directors.

Mr. Huddleston died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 1992 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.

A native of Felt, Okla., he had been a Borger resident for 47 years. He was an employee at Industrial Well Service.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry B. Huddleston in 1949.

Survivors include a son, Jerry Huddleston of Chattananooga [sic], Tenn.; three brothers, Allen Huddleston of Borger; Orbe Huddleston of Grand Junction, Colo.; and Vernon Huddleston of Seminole, Okla.; a sister, Jewell Ann Burns of Seminole, Okla.; his mother, Alice Huddleston of Borger; and one grandson.

Pallbearers will be Teddy West, J.C. "Sip" Campbell, Donnie Murrell, Bobby West, Jim Dunn, and Donald Garrard.

BORGER - Alice Huddleston, 92, died Thursday, June 9, 2005.

Services were at 11 a.m. Saturday in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Huddleston was born Oct. 20, 1912, in Clayton, N.M. She owned a nursery in her own home.

Survivors include two sons, Allen Huddleston of Borger and Vernon Huddleston of Seminole, Okla.; a daughter, Jewell Ann Burns of Seminole; a sister, Elnora Lovato of Albuquerque, N.M.; five brothers, Alfonso Gonzales of Ardmore, Okla., Richard Gonzales and Hap Gonzales, both of Raton, N.M., Joe Gonzales of Santa Fe, N.M., and Alex Gonzales of Albuquerque; and 12 grandchildren.
