True Vernon Huddleston
July 16, 1937 - June 8, 2016

True Vernon Huddleston passed away at his home in Seminole, Oklahoma on June 8, 2016.

He was born July 16, 1937 in Clayton, New Mexico to Henry Baker and Alice (Gonzales) Huddleston. He married Barbara Young March 27, 1968 in Skellytown and she passed away August 25, 1997.

He worked as a butcher in Texas and Wewoka, Oklahoma at Meer's Meat Processing Plant in Wewoka and he also worked for Central Drilling Company in Oklahoma. He was a machine operator and retired in 1999 from Hayes Axel in Seminole. He was a member of the Seminole Holiness Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife Barbara; his parents; 2 brothers: Orvie Huddleston and Liggie Huddleston.

He is survived by a daughter Dawn Huddleston Shull of Seminole, Oklahoma; 2 sons: Kelly Joe Huddleston of Seminole, Oklahoma and Philip Dean Huddleston of Seminole, Oklahoma; a sister Jewel Burns and husband Rev. William "Bill" Burns of Bowlegs, Oklahoma; a brother Alan Huddleston and wife Donna of Borger, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 11:00am at Highland Park Cemetery, Borger.

Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Borger
