Evelyn Hudspeth, 64, Borger, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 1995 in her home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Riverview Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Gillmore, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Virgil Jones, pastor Osage Baptist Church in Amarillo.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

A native of Scottsville, Ky., she had been a Borger resident for 48 years. She was a nurse's aid at Borger Nursing Center, and a member of Riverview Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Hudspeth in 1962; a granddaughter, Marcy Browning in 1989; a brother, Earl Henley in 1990; and a sister, Lula Blankenship in 1991.

Survivors include a son, Gene Thomas Hudspeth, Jr., of Borger; three daughters, Patricia Browning, Linda Scott, and Deanna Huval, all of Borger; a brother, Howard Henley of Borger; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Clayton Norton, Joe Castagnetta, Ronnie Dougten, Larry Byrd, Ricky Irvin, and David Irvin.

The family requests memorials be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 300 S. McGee, Borger, 79007.
