Death yesterday afternoon claimed J.A. (Bert) Hull, 46, at his home following a lingering illness. The oil field worker had been a resident of this city for the last ten years.
Besides his widow he is survived by two children, Joe and Betty Lou; a mother, Mrs. J.W. Snelgrove; and three sisters, Mrs. Roy Smart of Monahans, Texas, Mrs. A.J. Southern of Mingus, Texas, and Mrs. W.M. Abbott of Borger.
He was a member of the Masonic lodge and Christian church.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at the First Christian church at 2:30 with the Rev. L.O. Byerly officiating.
Burial will be in Highland cemetery beside his son, Simeon, who died of gunshot wounds accidentally inflicted in May, 1933.

Mrs. Anna Hull, 91, of 1102 Jackson, died at 3:50 p.m. Friday in North Plains Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the First Christian Church with the Rev. Jeff Holder, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
A native of Indian Territory, Okla., she had been a Borger resident for 56 years. She was a retired librarian, and a member of the First Christian Church and Christian Women's Fellowship.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Hull, and a son, Simeon Hull.
Survivors include one son, Joe Hull of Borger; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Gifford of Borger; two brothers, Bob Walker of Oologah, Okla., and Riley Walker of Skiatook, Okla.; three grandchildren, Mrs. Linda Chisholm of Borger, Michael Hull of Amarillo; and Larry Joe Hull of Joshua; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Frank Crowley, Fred Cochran, Chuck McWilliams, Felix Parker, Chuck Renick, and J.O. Updike.
The family will be staying at 909 Lee.
