SISTER OF AREA RESIDENTS DIES
BROWNFIELD—Mrs. William Conlee, 60, sister of four Big Country residents, died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in Brownfield General Hospital following a three-week illness.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Calvary Baptist Church in Brownfield with Clarence Branch, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Born Dec. 19, 1910 in Mitchell County, Mrs. Conlee married William Conlee June 3, 1937 in Sylvester. They moved to Brownfield in 1938.
Mrs. Conlee taught in the Brownfield Independent Public Schools and also gave private piano lessons in her home. She served as organist for the Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband; two sons, Robert of Honolulu and Bill of Brownfield; two daughters, Lou Anne of Canyon and Ruth of Levelland; three brothers, Paul Turner of Sweetwater, Fred and Willie Mack, both of Sylvester; one sister, Mrs. Kathryn Morris of Clyde; three grandchildren.
