*Obituary
Elmer Dee Hurley, 87, of 721 Stevenson, was pronounced dead on arrival at North Plains Hospital at 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
Hurley was born Nov. 8, 1888, in Terrell. He had been a resident of Borger for six years after coming here from Memphis, Tennessee. He was a member of the Johnson Park Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Altha May, of the home; a son, E.E. of Houston; and a daughter, Mrs. Ira Wright, of Stinnett. Also surviving are two brothers, Frank and Fay, of Delhi, La.; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Castelman, Alva, Ok.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Johnson Park Church of Christ, with Gary Dennis, minister, officiating, assisted by Delbert McLoud, minister of the Church of Christ of Stinnett.
Burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Simpson's Funeral Home.
