*Obituary
Wayne D. Hurt, 83, 702 Dixon, died at 10:10 a.m. Thursday in his home.
A retired employee of Southwestern Public Service Company, he was a native of Dade County, Missouri, and a Borger resident for 60 years.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby of the home; one son, Donald L. Hurt of Wolffort; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Howard Ross Hurt, in 1982.
Funeral services are pending with Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
